Happy Birthday Grandma Dalland

Adam and I love watching Shark tank.  Several weeks ago we saw a company that had an app...this app allowed you to use a picture you have on your phone and turn it into a postcard.  For a fee this company would send a snail mail version of your picture...HOW COOL!  Anyway I thought it would be a great way to send Birthday Cards.  I had a special photo shoot with the boys just for great grandma...so much better than a card you could buy...

 Even though we don't get to see you very often we LOVE talking to you on the phone.  We had so much fun this summer at the lake running around and playing in (and eating) the sand.  We hope you have a special day and eat a BIG piece of cake.

10 Months...

I didn't take any intentional 10 month pictures...

I did however catch him at a very happy, cute time...

Halloween 2013

Basically we did Halloween BIG this year...well big for 2 little ones.
We started with trick or treat in downtown Apex
We threw 2 parties for our friends
and went Trick or Treating with more friends... (pictures to come as soon as I get them off my phone)

At each event I tried to get a good picture of the kids together in their costumes.  I felt the pressure since my homemade costumes wouldn't last forever and neither would my pumpkins...not the kids my actual pumpkins.  This is my best...

A friend is a photographer and had a great deal on Halloween costume mini sessions...in 10 min (literally) she got these...

I am starting to be really happy with the photos I'm taking...and so mad at the quality of pictures I took before.  I still have a lot of work to do with editing but I'm getting there.
