…and I said “If you don’t like it here…go to McDonalds!”

After 26+ hours traveling and less than 2 hours of sleep we spent the evening close to the hotel in “Little Italy”.  Our hotel happened to be right next to China Town and Little Italy…we chose Italy.  We had an amazing Italian meal I ate the best Ravioli I have ever eaten (and that is my Italian restaurant staple…I am a creature of habit).

Adam had a delicious chicken dish!  The title of this blog was what we overheard one restaurant manager telling another.  The streets were lined with restaurants and shops selling t-shirts about how amazing Italians are.  It was just like being in Italy…the smell of marinara, garlic and basil, the sound of Italians greeting one another, the Italian singer in our restaurant singing Beatles songs (OK so I know the Beatles aren’t Italian but when an Italian guy sings with Italian style background music…well it almost sounds Italian).  Top off the night with a cup of gelato and you almost forget that how sleepy you are…that is until your head hits the pillow.
Can you beat seeing NY's bravest hanging out in Little Italy?
