the phrase stay at home doesn't really apply to us...first we have no home right now and second we do everything we can to NOT stay in the hotel all day.
In China I didn't really have much of a choice...I couldn't get a job, and I didn't get to do the things that American moms get to do.
Wednesday Adam went back to work so Zachary and I had our first day alone. We got up and had breakfast with Adam before he left and came back up to the room where Zachary and I played and watched Regis and Kelly. We met some of my old lifegroup friends and their kids at Chic-fil-A for lunch and a play (for the big kids)...Zachary LOVED watching the big kids play. Afterwards we drove around to look at all the stuff near our new apartment, and I don't think I will ever have to leave. We got out and walked all over Briar Creek (stopped for an Orange Julius) looking in stores and reading restaurant menu's. Before going back to the hotel we stopped at Lowes Foods to pick up an avocado for Zachary. I was giddy just walking through the door. I can't wait for my first real trip to the grocery store!
Tomorrow we plan on going to Southpoint mall to do some more window shopping and Friday I am going to drive around Cary to see what other exciting things we have in our new home town.
