Apparently We Will Be Living At The Gold Lake Hotel

Not really, but we will be here for a while.  The perfect apartment that was ready for us to move into is apparently not so perfect.  We found out that yet another realtor was screwing us over (charging 2000 RMB more than they should per month).  Beyond sneaky realtors we chose the apartment that a Hong Kong criminal owns.  I don’t know what exactly he is involved in but it’s pretty bad and the last thing we need is to be involved in any way.  I doubt just renting his place would cause any problems for us, but the fact that we are foreigners who don’t speak the language we would rather not live in an apartment of a known criminal…who knows what we could get drawn into. 

The people at Cree that are from Huizhou are the ones that informed us of this and they advised us not to go any further with this place. 

It looks like we have another day of apartment hunting ahead of us.
