Happy Mothers Day To ME!

It is so strange to be celebrated on this day!  I just had a baby…which still feels a little surreal.  I was very lucky to be able to celebrate my first mother’s day with my own mother.  We didn’t make a huge fuss…in fact we all worked all morning getting our party ready.  After everyone left we played a little guitar hero then headed off to the Kande hotel for a nice dinner and a foot massage leaving the men at home.  I was really glad to be able to spend the whole day as a family celebrating my son with my friends, but it was nice to get away for a couple hours and to eat a meal without having to stop to feed or without spilling on the baby’s head. 
I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband and a beautiful little boy.  Honestly that is all I need on my mother’s day!
