3 Months

Hunter is 3 months old!

This means he is no longer a newborn...

he is a baby...

I love his big smile...

He makes you work for it, but it's worth the effort...

I think his cheeks get bigger everyday...

 He loves blowing bubbles...

He is really strong...

I feel like he tries to sit up when we lay him down...

He needs to know someone is in the room with him...

If you lose eye contact or walk out of the room he starts to wine...

if you don't give him back your attention quickly it turns into a cry...

I think he might be active like his brother, but more relational (if that's possible)...

These three months have been wonderful.  I am so excited to move into the house and decorate the nursery.  I also can't wait to see him learn so many more new things.

Spring is here...FINALLY

I was born in NJ and lived in NY for several years but I have to say even though 7 year old Lindsay was mentally not happy with the move and was very angry with her parents for taking her away from her home (I hate change unless it's a decision I make...and for some reason my parents left me out of the moving discussion) it didn't take me long to appreciate spring (a season that didn't exist in upstate NY).  This year I have been super annoyed at the weather, outdoor play dates canceled for cold or rain, the continuation of winter illness canceling other play dates.  Basically Zack, Hunter and I live for our daily trip to target so Zack can run and Hunter doesn't get sick. On that note I realized there is nothing I need that can't be found at Target...how did I live without target while we were in China?
Anyway...SPRING...yay!
We chose to spend this lovely spring Sunday afternoon outside!

We walked to the park nearby...

played a little bit

and walked back...

I am really proud of Zack for walking (almost) the whole way by himself.  It had to be a quarter mile each way.

I am so excited the weather this week is going to be nice.

I-phone photo dump: MARCH

I've decided that I need to document my phone photos a lot better so I'll do a monthly recap
Zack made Adam take off his socks and put them on him.

"nose"

"eye"

fell asleep with a soccer and volley ball

he sits on the couch and asks us to put the blanket on him

this teddy bear was part of the mobile in the pack and play.  It mysteriously would find it's way to Hunters arms whenever he was napping.  One day I saw Zack pull it down and give it to his brother.

This is the cookies a pregnant woman orders

"bi bo"  (big lollypop) the train guy (Mr. James) usually hands out dum dums today Zack got a tootsie pop!  (and yes we know the name of the guy who drives the train at the mall)

Woke up one morning with several of these...Zack made Adam put the blanket on the floor, put the baby on the blanket and after he laid down he made Adam take pictures with both of our phones.

Zack's newest obsession.

my cutie sleeping while Zack plays at the park

The only picture I have of the boys in the super cute egg hunt t-shirts.

morning cartoons

finally caught the smile!

birthday lunch at chic-fil-a

"mama you crazy!"  I was trying to get him to smile again

after skyping great-grandma Zack pressed some buttons and turned my  screen sideways

Soooooooooooo cute!

even cuter

so much happened with the house!
