Stella 11 Months

It's happening...the dreaded/celebrated day we have a 1 year old...

we still have a month...but it's coming.

Stella loves eating, sleeping, clapping and her brothers...

she is not a fan of the car seat, naps anywhere but her bed or the pack n play.

She has developed such a fun personality...

spunky, silly, joyful, content, adoriable...

she is doing a pretty good job of keeping up with her brothers...

she thinks chasing after them on their evening run around the island or bouncing on the couch are the most fun things ever...

We are having so much fun with her.

Zack 4.5

Yesterday he was learning to walk and today he is four and a half...

There are so many things I could say about this kid...

he is thoughtful, kind, energetic, happy, playful, silly, loving, smart...

seriously he sets high standards for his brother and sister...

and most other 4 year olds...in fact his teacher told me he is an "excellent role model...really great"

I'm certain he will always be a favorite student, everyone's friend, a star big brother...

 

and one of the best kids two parents could ask for.

Labor Day in the Mountains

Usually I don't know when these holidays come up because I am no longer teaching and doing calendar time and Adam never gets these days off.  Typically I find out about them because I go to the grocery store and it's packed with people who are usually working or in school (grumpy face).  This year Adam had Labor day off and several days that he would lose if  he didn't use them up.  We agreed not to go on any vacations this summer because of so many things but things were going well and the mountains were the perfect place to relax and let the boys run around. 
The weather was perfect...and the fog was a beautiful backdrop to pictures of my boys.

 We ate outside...and Zack loved being able to have "onange chips" (Doritos) because we were on "baycation".

 This is one of the only pictures I have of both boys looking and smiling...

 We built a fire and the kids watched Adam and I eat smores while they snacked on graham crackers, sat on fun benches and toasted a marshmallow for maybe 5 seconds...you know those moments as parents where you are super excited about giving your kids a special treat (smores) and they think the special treat is sitting on a stool you have never seen before?

 We threw Stella in the sandbox for a photo op and got her out before she ate any sand...success...one or both of the boys didn't run away...double success

 again...all the kids in one photo...priceless...especially because this is exactly what our camp fire looked like.

Stella 10 Months

This month totally got away from me...

however we are halfway through her 10th month which means she is 1.5 months away from being ONE...

she is crawling...clapping...bouncing....waving...all those cute things babies do.

She is forever smiling and her fussy is most babies normal.

Her favorite things to do are eat and clap...she loves playing with shoes, superhero figurines and balls...

she tries her hardest to keep up with the boys on their nightly run around the kitchen...it won't be long until she is running right along with them.

Stella...I apologize that the only photos I have of you are randoms taken at Zack's soccer game and in the mountains eating.

First Day of School 2015

Stella 9 Months

She has 2.5 teeth...

an adorably crooked smile...

and a heart warming cuddle.

She just started "crawling"...

it's more like dragging herself on the ground.

She loves playing with her brothers toys, eating everything and stealing Hunter's blanket.

She sleeps well and loves life.

My favorite thing to do in the morning is go get her from her bed...

she lights up making any hour a good time to get up.
