The Sun Room Is DONE!

OK so I am super excited that all our major projects are now finished...we aren't totally ready to put away the tools/paint/cleaning supplies...but we are ready to lay back and relax a little.
We put this project off until we moved in because we figured it wasn't necessary before the move and we didn't want to put too much on our plate.  We also put this project off because it was SO DARN NASTY out there and the thought of going in that room made me sick and made Adam stressed.
Here ya go...
As you can see our tenants used the sunroom as a place to store junk and a place for their dog to destroy.  FYI there was carpet before they moved in (nice carpet).  We don't have all the furniture in here yet (some is still at the apartment).
At first look we thought the tile was bad...I mean really...but look at the big hole in the floor (where the dog crate was...we can only assume the dog peed in this corner).
It's bad when plywood looks like an improvement over tile...and yes Home Depot gave us the extra 3 inches we paid for plus a few just to make sure.  The only reason Zack isn't wearing pants because he already dirtied 2 pair that day...we would have let him wear them to work but they were covered in mud and we didn't want mud on our nice clean wood.
The fan may be ugly but at least it's clean now...who knew it was white under all that nast

This is an addition and more of a 3 season room so the siding is exposed on one wall...it's amazing what a little dawn dish soap can do.  Not totally up to my standard but a couple more cleans and it will be perfect!

Well...it may be difficult to keep the windows clean...tell me what is the point of touching EVERY window?

I guess I can't fault him for touching the windows when I threw a rock through one...this is the damage...on the plus side it took 3 throws from 7 feet back to break it.  Strong windows that need to be special ordered...great selling point!
